The accessory life
As we all know, I love fashion! It’s literally been part of me since I was little. Back in the day, my extensive purse collection ranged from Fetish to Baby Phat and I had every colored necklace/earrings you could imagine. I almost always had some type of matching belt or accessory of some sort for every outfit. And of course, the same color shoes to match the rainbow (yes, I used to be matchy-matchy haha). Notice that all of the things I mentioned were accessories. I LOVE ACCESSORIZING! To me, accessorizing is an effortless way to make a fashion statement. Of course, I have cute outfits and even some show stoppers in my closet. But, my personal style’s strong suit lies in the accentuating of pretty classic, versatile pieces.
The Switch Up
In this photo-shoot, I literally had on the same skirt and top and just switched up the accessories to give a whole new look. Whether it was adding a statement necklace or biker jacket over the shoulder for a little edge and sexiness or popping a color with a red jacket and eccentric scarf to match. Both accomplish the same thing, but in two completely different ways. That’s “so me” and easy to do (I’m lazy, but creative lol)!
The Statement Piece
One of my favorite ways of accessorizing an outfit is adding a statement necklace. Not only is it a conversation piece, but is also a creative way to accentuate your outfit. My go-to store for statement necklaces is Aldo and Zara usually has a pretty good selection as well. Another one of my favorite ways to accessorize an outfit is adding color. I am such a fan of popping a color with lipsticks, jackets, and/or shoes. My personal favorite color is red (and yes am an AKA all-day lol). It’s so versatile, vibrant, and sexy at the same time. You can really do no wrong wearing red.
